Our gardens are filled with frangipani and Indian jasmine, interspersed with bamboo, bougainvilla, mango, papaya ,banana and coconut trees that attract an amazing variety of birds and butterflies. The birds sighted in our back garden and from the front garden includes the beautiful Paradise Fly Catcher, bulbuls, kingfishers, sunbirds, golden orioles, tree pies, golden-backed woodpeckers, Indian roller and owls.

RACHOL is rich in history as it houses the Oldest Church in South Goa and the oldest and largest seminary in asia .The village is tiny and untouched...dont be surprised if you are the only tourist in the whole village.
The uniqueness of the village is that the paddy fields turn into prawn farms from nov thru april and so the ever changing topography attracts unique and rare migratory birds.The river runs besides the village thus making for unique isolated fishing spots. It also has ideal cycling and trekking trails.
Sunkizt is situated just behind the 450 years historical Rachol Seminary which is 15 mins from Margao and 20 minutes to Majorda beach and 25 minutes to Colva beach, 40 mins from Panjim and 30 minutes to the airport.
